FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)- If you go by 'The Bride to Be' bridal shop in Jefferson Point, you'll notice it's now closed. There's a sign on the door notifying customers of its closure and the inside is empty.
The bridal shop officially went out of business last week because Rosen says she couldn't afford to stay open.
FOX 55 reached out to Eve Rosen the owner, and she said she didn't want to do an interview since she's still receiving threats from people.
Some brides tell us, they're still having a hard time getting refunds and dresses.
Customers says that before the store closed, they were having a hard time getting their dresses, and then when they asked for a refund, they had trouble getting that too.
Now, some brides say they've gotten their refunds and others have gotten their dresses. Other brides say, rosen won't answer their phone calls. Rosen says she couldn't stay open after issuing so many refunds.
Rosen says she's given away most of the merchandise away to customers who's dresses never came, or sold them to other stores who were interested in them. She says she's helping as many brides as she can even after closing her doors.
A claim has been issued against Rosen in small claims court by one of the brides. A bench trial is scheduled for March 2nd.
